Every quote we send is itemized. You see what the product costs, what we charge for our work, and what shipping costs, and you see all of it before you pay.
What Makes Up Your Cost
| Part | What it covers | What changes it |
|---|---|---|
| Product cost | The price the supplier charges for the goods | The supplier, the quantity, the materials and specification, any customization |
| Service fee | Our work: sourcing and buying, inspection, storage, picking and packing | Which services the order needs, how many items go in each parcel, extra packing work |
| Shipping | Carrying each parcel from our warehouse to your customer | The destination, the weight and size of the parcel, the shipping line, what is inside |
The three parts appear as separate lines in your quote. Together they give the landed cost of an order.
Product Cost
This is what the supplier charges, passed on to you as a separate line. It moves with the supplier you choose, the quantity you order, and the product itself: material, size, finish, and anything made to your specification. When we source a product, we compare suppliers so that you can see the difference before you choose.
Service Fee
This is what we charge for the work we do, and it depends on what the order needs. An order that only needs buying, checking, and shipping is different from one that also needs storage, bundling, and branded packing. The quote states what the fee covers, so you know what you are paying for.
Extras such as custom packaging, labels, inserts, and bundling are listed as their own lines, with the cost of materials and the cost of the work, before anything starts.
Shipping
Shipping depends on where the parcel is going, how much it weighs, how much space it takes, and which line carries it. Some products can only travel on certain lines, which also affects the cost. Where more than one line makes sense, your quote lists them so you can choose between speed and cost. See global shipping.
Why There Is No Price List Here
A single price list would be wrong for most of the people reading it. The cost of a phone case sent to one country says nothing about the cost of a winter coat sent to another. So we quote your product, at your quantity, to your destinations, and you get figures you can put straight into your margin calculation.
Quotes Are Free
You are never charged for a quote, and asking for one does not commit you to an order. If the figures do not work for your store, you have lost nothing.
Before You Pay
We do not buy anything until you have approved the price. Once you confirm a quote, payment is made as set out in that quote. If something changes afterwards, for example the supplier revises a price or you change the order, we send an updated quote for you to approve.
